Winter DressingGetting 18 four year olds dressed for enjoying the snow is a challenge! We have learned a few things that help make the winter gear more manageable.

We really appreciate it. - Heidi ———————— SnacksWe would like to remind everyone of the importance of bringing a nutritious snack for the children on your parent-help day. Snacks are part of a child's total daily nutrition, so keep that in mind as you plan what to bring. Consider:
Please try to keep the sweets for special birthday snacks. Also remember to consider the allergies in your child's class. These are now written on the Parent Help Schedule that you receive in your child's backpack. ———————— Carpooling, Class Lists and Sitting SwapsAre you feeling rushed off your feet trying to make another appointment, pick up another child, or bundle up your baby or toddler? Now that you and your child are settled in at the pre-school and the cold weather has arrived, you may want to consider carpooling and/or swapping child care of younger siblings. To facilitate this, the class lists are kept current by the registrars and the APHYCSS (Auxiliary Parent Helpers with Younger Children Sitting Swap - don't you LOVE acronyms?). Lists are kept in the stairwell. The class lists and APHYCSS lists can act as a resource for car pooling, child-care, emergencies, and to promote an awareness of our far-reaching and wonderful Campus Pre-School community. ———————— A Covenant for honoring children We find these joys to be self-evident: That all children are created whole, endowed with innate intelligence, with dignity and wonder, worthy of respect.
