I have been teaching four-year-olds at Campus since 1989 and I still enjoy it and
learn from it every day. I have a BA in Child Development and Early Childhood Education
from Pacific Oaks College in California.
Before moving to Calgary, we lived in Lethbridge for 12 years. During that time,
a friend and I started a parent co-op preschool and I taught there for several years.
I also was an instructor in the Early Childhood Diploma Programme at Lethbridge
Community College for five years. My husband and I have four children. Two of them
attended Campus after we moved to Calgary. Now they have all graduated from university
and I am enjoying being an Oma. I love hiking, biking and skiing in the mountains
and I fill any spare time with reading.
I really value the community spirit that a parent co-operative like Campus Preschool
creates. I find that connections I have made through the school continue to enrich
my life both inside and outside of the classroom. I hope that this is also your
experience at our school and I look forward to getting to know you and your children.

I have been teaching three-year-olds at Campus since 2000 and I enjoy it very much.
Campus Preschool, my co-workers, the board , the parents and the children are all
wonderful to work with.
I graduated with honors from the Early Childhood Education diploma program at Mount
Royal College in 1985, and I have several years related experience. My husband and
I have two boys who are both graduates of Campus Preschool.
My goal is to provide an enriching, safe and positive experience for your child
with the emphasis on having FUN! I look forward to getting to know everyone.

After graduating from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Education,
I returned to my hometown on the north coast of B.C. where I taught for several
years. My favourite positions included Special Education for First Nations students
in various elementary grades, Kindergarten, and grade 3. My husband and I have three
children and I enjoyed many years at home full time with my daughters and son. During
this time I became involved in various ways with my children's classrooms as well
as their after school activities. After we moved our family to Calgary, I helped
in the office of a non-profit organization and worked in a 3 and 4 year old preschool
class. In my free time I enjoy nothing better than to have a coffee with a friend,
spend time quilting, go for long walks with my dog, or work in my garden! I'm looking
forward to joining Campus Preschool this fall where I will teach a morning 4 year
old class. It is my aim to provide a rich and fun learning environment where each
child is valued. I am inspired by the way preschoolers engage in their environment
and their love of learning!
