I have been teaching four-year-olds at Campus since 1989 and I still enjoy it and
learn from it every day. I have a BA in Child Development and Early Childhood Education
from Pacific Oaks College in California.
Before moving to Calgary, we lived in Lethbridge for 12 years. During that time,
a friend and I started a parent co-op preschool and I taught there for several years.
I also was an instructor in the Early Childhood Diploma Program at Lethbridge Community
College for five years. My husband and I have four children. Two of them attended
Campus after we moved to Calgary. Now they have all graduated from university and
I am enjoying being an Oma. I love hiking, biking and skiing in the mountains and
I fill any spare time with reading.
I really value the community spirit that a parent co-operative like Campus Preschool
creates. I find the connections I have made through the school continue to enrich
my life both inside and outside of the classroom. I hope that this is also your
experience at our school and I look forward to getting to know you and your children.

I have been teaching junior classes at Campus since Sept. 2000. I enjoy it very
much. My co-workers, the board, the parents and, of course, the children are all
wonderful to work with. I graduated from Mount Royal University in 1985 with a diploma
in Early Childhood Education. I have several years’ related pre-school experience.
My husband Ray and I have two boys, Justin and Joseph, who are both graduates of
Campus Pre-School. I love to read, do puzzles, walk with my dog, swim and spend
quality time with family and friends. My goal is to provide an enriching, safe and
positive experience for your child with the emphasis on having FUN! I look forward
to getting to know all of you throughout the year.

After graduating from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Education,
I returned to my hometown on the north coast of B.C. where I taught for several
years. My favourite assignments included Special Education for First Nations students,
Kindergarten, and grade 3. In 2006 My husband and I moved our family to Calgary
where I helped in the office of a non-profit organization and worked in a 3/4 year
old preschool class. I began teaching the MWF morning senior class at Campus Pre-School
in 2011.
My husband and I have three children. Our oldest daughter and son are university
students and our youngest daughter is in Junior High. In my free time I enjoy quilting,
going for long walks, and working in my garden.
As my second year at Campus begins, I look forward to getting to know the children,
as well as their parents, as we play and learn together throughout the year. It
is my aim to provide an interesting and fun learning environment where each child
is valued.
