Learning Through Play
As children play, the teachers help them learn important social skills
such as cooperation, conflict resolution, and problem solving. Letters,
numbers and other academic skills are introduced through stories, finger-plays,
action games, drama and art.
"Learning through play has been very beneficial to my children.
It allows children to develop at their own pace."
"The perfect mix of fun and learning."
Years of Experience and a Genuine Love of Children
Established in 1965, Campus Pre-School is the longest running preschool in Calgary that is operated as a parent cooperative.
Our teachers experience and genuine love of kids shows in the classroom.
Literally hundreds of 3 and 4 year-olds have grown under the guidance
of our teachers. As well, our teachers have university/college degrees
in early childhood education and attend ongoing development workshops.
"I always feel confident leaving my children with the teachers. They provide a warm happy environment in which my child can learn without any pressure."
"The teachers are patient and kind and make the children feel
loved and respected as people."
