For children who are 4 before March 1, 2011:
- Monday - Wednesday - Friday mornings.

Hours
- Morning classes - 9:00 to 11:30 am
- Afternoon classes - 1:00 to 3:30 pm
Daily Schedule
Playtime at centers (1 hour)
Children are free to explore the many activities set up by the teachers:
art using a wide variety of media, manipulative toys, playdough, blocks,
water table, and sand table. As well, there are dress-up clothes, a play
kitchen and fort, and many other toys to stimulate the children's imaginations.
Circle time (15 minutes)
The teacher leads group activities including songs, discussion, fingerplays,
drama and games.
Gym Time (20 minutes)
We have a large gym area where children can develop gross motor skills
through play equipment such as balls, hoops, and beanbags and share in
group games and action songs.
Snack Time (10 minutes)
Note: Campus Preschool is a peanut free school, and allergies
are posted.
Story time (10 minutes)
Outdoor play (15-30 minutes)
Our playground has up-to-date equipment appropriate for preschoolers.

Terms
Campus Pre-School operates from September to June and follows public school calendar holidays.

Nov. 29-Dec. 3 Five Senses - Exploring the winter world with our five senses. Do you have anything interesting for us to see, taste, touch or smell?
Dec 6-10 Lots of Light - This is the dark time of year. We’ll be talking about stars, firelight, lanterns, Christmas lights and candles.
Dec 14&15 Christmas Celebrations and Parties -
Dec 16 Organizational Day - No school for children.
Jan. 3-14 Nursery Rhymes and Fairy Tales - We will be playing and acting out all the favourites.
Jan 17-26 Winter Fun - All the joys and activities of this time of year.
Jan. 27-28 Parent/Teacher Interviews - No school for children.

Sample Senior Program Schedule
Nov.29-Dec.3 Lights and Festivals
Dec 6-10 As we are in the darkest time of the year, we will explore light. We will look at light sources and the importance of light in holidays and festivals at this time of year. If you have special family traditions or customs you would like to share with us, please let us know. In Heidi’s family, they make candles. Heidi and Sandy will be doing that with the children. We will need an extra parent to help with this (for the first hour of class), so talk to us if you would like to help.

Jan. 3-7 Winter Fun
Jan. 10-11 We will be enjoying winter activities as much as we can
Jan. 17-21 Beach Days - Tune-up your imagination. We’ll escape the cold for some warmer fun!
